Jeffrey S. Rosacker, CPA
Jeff is the managing and tax partner of Osborne, Parsons & Rosacker, LLP with an office in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a graduate of Adams State College and has been a licensed C.P.A. in Colorado since 1987.
Jeff began his professional career with a small local firm specializing in tax, audit and management consulting for family owned businesses and their owners. During his more than 30 years of experience, his tax work has included tax planning, research, tax examinations, dealing with various taxing authorities and return preparation for business – from start-up to revenue in excess of $200,000,000 per year. His individual clients include business owners, executives, professionals and high net-worth individuals. He also is experienced in the estate, gift and trust tax area, including planning and preparation of estate, gift and fiduciary income tax returns.
Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Colorado Springs.
Jeff’s recent volunteer activities include serving as a board member of Pikes Peak Hospice & Paliative Care, treasurer and board member of Care Syergy and advisory committee member of the Freda Maytag-Grace Crawford Trust.
Jeff enjoys golf, fishing, hiking and spending time with his family. He and his wife Janet, of 30 years have two children.
Mitchell K. Downs, CPA
A Minnesota native, Mitch has been with Osborne, Parsons & Rosacker, LLP since 1999. He attended Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota and graduated with a bachelor's of arts degree in economics. He passed the CPA exam in 1992 and soon thereafter relocated to Colorado. Being from Minnesota, he is an avid hockey fan.
Mitch has over 24 years of public accounting experience. Public accounting experience includes: planning, managing and review engagements for companies and organizations of varying size, including audits, reviews and compilations for the following: commercial organizations, exempt organizations, local governments, qualified retirement plans, tax consulting for individuals and businesses.
Mitch is qualified to perform work in accordance with generally accepted government audit standards, otherwise known as "The Yellow Book" and is qualified to perform engagements that require compliance auditing under OMB Circular A-133 "Audits of State and Local Governments and Non-profit Organizations."
Mitch is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mitch is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Forensic and Valuation Services Section.
Mitch is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Not-For-Profit Section.
Mitch's volunteer acitivities currently include serving as a board member for Pikes Peak Histroical Railway Foundation.
